How do task breakdowns work?
Type or dictate any task and Taskzen uses AI to break it into small, actionable steps with time estimates. Pick a focus mode (Quick, Normal, or Deep) for shorter or more detailed breakdowns, then start a timed focus session on each step.
What does Taskzen Pro include, and how am I billed?
Pro unlocks unlimited AI breakdowns, the focus timer, and full session history. It's an auto-renewable subscription billed through your Apple Account (monthly or annual). It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your device open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select Taskzen, and cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the paid period.
I paid but don't see Pro — how do I restore it?
Open the app, go to the upgrade screen, and tap Restore. This re-checks your Apple Account for an active subscription and restores Pro. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple ID you purchased with.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data. An active App Store subscription must be cancelled separately in your Apple ID settings.
Is my task data private?
Your task text is sent to our servers only to generate breakdowns; it isn't sold or used to train AI models. The full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are available inside the app under Settings.
